What's included in every tier

Most of the product is the product — we don't gate the things schools actually need on price.

  • Daily attendance with structured absence reasons.
  • Weekly, multi-week, day-rotation, and custom cycle timetables.
  • Smart groups (rule-based cohorts) feeding alerts, dashboards, and exports.
  • Evacuation roll-call — live, mobile-first.
  • Houses, points, and the school-wide leaderboard.
  • Extended-absence logging (hospital stays, family holidays, tours).
  • Full per-tenant audit log of every mutation.
  • EU hosting (Render Frankfurt) under GDPR — POPIA §72(1)(a) covered.
  • Tenant isolation enforced at the database layer.
  • Passwordless authentication (email magic links + WebAuthn passkeys).

How billing works

  • Annual contracts. Schools think in years; so do we. Pricing is fixed for the contract year.
  • Invoice + EFT. No credit card required. We issue a quote, then an invoice on PO. Payable on standard education-sector terms.
  • Annual prepay discount. 10% off if you settle the full year up front.
  • Mid-year onboarding. If you start in May (Term 2), you pay for the remaining terms only.
  • Active students only. Withdrawn students stop counting from their withdrawal date.

Free term pilot

Every new school gets a full school term — about ten weeks — free. No credit card. The whole product, your real timetable, your real teachers. If your teachers aren't taking attendance on ClassPulse by the end of the pilot, we'd rather know than bill you.

Schools under 50 active students, and registered non-profits serving under-resourced communities, are eligible for substantial discounts. Email hello@classpulse.co.za with a one-line description and we'll send a custom quote.

Prices exclude VAT. Pricing shown is indicative for the school year and may be adjusted with 60 days' notice for new contracts. Existing contracts are honoured at the rate signed.
